Trust Hub Network
Ohio Trust Hub Research
The Trust Hub Network
One statewide research gateway across contractor, moving, senior care, mortgage lending, insurance, and investment-adviser evidence. AskTrustHub is the discovery and routing layer. Specialist hubs own the Ohio evidence. No paid placements. No Trust Score. No blanket “verified providers” statement.
Organizations and evidence records stay separate. Missing, restricted, and search-only sources are unknown, not zero. Ohio research is statewide. Columbus, Cleveland, Cincinnati, Toledo, Akron, Dayton, and other local names stay on this statewide entrance; local Ohio datasets are not started.
Ohio’s strongest Trust Hub evidence is OCILB five-trade commercial specialty licensing without a statewide general-contractor census, PUCO household-goods carrier authority that is publicly searchable but has no acquired complete current roster and uses carrier-specific tariffs, ODH Nursing Home and Residential Care Facility licenses kept separate from CMS, DFI/NMLS RMLA nonbank mortgage registration that is search-only plus HMDA 2025 market activity, ODI authorized legal insurers and Major Lines business-entity NPNs that must not be added, and IAPD Ohio state-IA firms that must not be summed with ERA, notice filings, or principal-office geography. Organizations and evidence records stay separate. Missing, restricted, and search-only sources are unknown — not zero.
All six specialist Ohio research pages are published. Ask /ohio is a catalog and research entrance, not a seventh copy of every specialist dataset.
Specialist Ohio research
Contractors
Does Ohio license general contractors statewide?
9,528 distinct OCILB numeric license identities
- OCILB five specialty trades
- Multi-trade holders
- State Fire Marshal fire-protection certification
- No statewide GC census
9,528 distinct OCILB numeric license identities. 12,461 trade rows collapse across multi-trade holders.
Ohio does not have one statewide general-contractor license. Fire installer ≠ OCILB contractor. Discipline is search-only.
Moving
Is there a complete current PUCO household-goods certificate roster?
PUCO household-goods carrier authority is publicly searchable; no complete current statewide HHG certificate roster was acquired
- PUCO HHG certificate
- Carrier-specific tariffs
- Estimates and claims windows
- PUCO vs FMCSA
PUCO household-goods carrier authority is publicly searchable; no complete current statewide HHG certificate roster was acquired.
Do not invent a mover count. Search-only is not zero. Exact PUCO→USDOT and PUCO→MC bridges: 0.
Senior care
Is assisted living a separate Ohio license class from Residential Care Facility?
923 ODH Nursing Home licenses
- ODH Nursing Home licenses
- Residential Care Facility / assisted living
- CMS overlays
- Home health and hospice search-only
923 ODH Nursing Home licenses and separately 812 Residential Care Facility licenses.
Never publish 1,735 Ohio senior facilities. State license ≠ CMS CCN. Navigator quality is not a TrustHub ranking.
Mortgage lenders
Are 460,825 HMDA applications Ohio lenders?
460,825 HMDA 2025 Ohio mortgage applications
- RMLA company registration
- HMDA 2025 Ohio applications
- CFPB 2025 mortgage complaints
- OHFA participating-lender observations
460,825 HMDA 2025 Ohio mortgage applications. Market activity, not a lender count.
RMLA search-only is not zero companies. Do not use MLOs, OHFA names, FDIC banks, or HMDA LEIs as the lender census.
Insurance
Can homeowners insurance agencies Ohio use an exact official product LOA?
1,738 ODI-authorized legal insurers
- Authorized legal insurers
- Major Lines business-entity NPNs
- Life and Accident & Health licensing authority
- Administrative Actions Journal
1,738 ODI-authorized legal insurers. Separately 23,922 Major Lines business-entity NPNs.
Do not add insurer NAIC and agency NPN. SQA-009: homeowners/auto agency queries must not become generic Ohio agencies. Journal is not a complete enforcement census.
Investment advisers
Can 784 APPROVED state IAs be added to ERA and notice filings?
784 IAPD APPROVED Ohio state-IA firm CRDs
- IAPD APPROVED Ohio state-IA firms
- ERA
- Federal notice filings
- NOH vs Final Order
784 IAPD APPROVED Ohio state-IA firm CRDs. Separately 24 ERA, 2,733 notice filings, 426 principal-office overlay.
Do not add those populations. Principal office ≠ registration. NOH ≠ final finding. Division Orders retrieval warns it may not be comprehensive.
Exact identifier research
- OCILB EL. HV. HY. PL. RE. — contractor specialty credentials, not a company license.
- PUCO No. — household-goods certificate. Do not translate into USDOT or MC.
- ODH OH##### nursing home and OHL##### residential care facility. CMS CCN stays separate.
- NMLS Unique ID and Ohio DFI/RMLA identifier stay distinct. LEI is not NMLS.
- NAIC Company Code is not NPN.
- Firm CRD is not person CRD.
What makes Ohio different
- Contractor: Ohio uses OCILB individual licensing for five commercial specialty trades rather than a universal state GC license, plus separate State Fire Marshal fire-protection certification.
- Move: PUCO household-goods authority uses a state certificate identity, but the current statewide roster is search-only. Each carrier files its own tariff; Ohio does not use NC's one Maximum Rate Tariff.
- Senior: ODH separately licenses Nursing Homes and Residential Care Facilities; RCF is Ohio's formal assisted-living class. State licenses and CMS certification stay separate.
- Lender: DFI regulates RMLA nonbank mortgage activity while NMLS supplies public licensing infrastructure. RMLA covers multiple company activities and does not represent every mortgage lender because of statutory depository exemptions.
- Insurance: ODI exposes a complete authorized legal-insurer universe plus a strong business-entity mailing-list generator with licensing-authority filters and a bounded but explicitly incomplete Administrative Actions Journal.
- Investor: Ohio state-IA registration in IAPD is distinct from ERA, federal notice filing, and Ohio principal-office geography. Division Orders separately distinguish NOH allegations from final dispositions.
Source coverage and limitations
The six specialist hubs contain incompatible grains and overlapping legal/person/company/facility populations. Ask does not publish Ohio providers, companies, licensed businesses, professionals, or records as an aggregated numerical total. Six specialist /ohio pages plus Ask /ohio. Page/surface count only — not a business, record, provider, or license count. 7 surfaces ≠ 7 providers. Search-only and missing sources are unknown, not zero. Source clocks differ by hub. Ask does not rank providers.
