What claiming a profile means
Claiming a profile confirms management access for an authorized business representative. It does not change public evidence, rankings, source status, Trust Hub research, or create an endorsement.
Claiming is free. Business-management features are rolling out in phases, and capabilities vary by Trust Hub and source availability.
What claiming lets an authorized representative do
- Manage supported business-supplied information.
- Submit correction requests and eligible business responses.
- Manage team access.
- Use monitoring where supported.
What claiming does not do
- Change regulator records or remove accurate public evidence.
- Improve rankings or change Trust Hub research ordering.
- Certify good standing, quality, or safety.
- Create a recommendation or endorsement.
- Guarantee monitoring or publication of every supplied field.
How authority is reviewed
Claims require authority review. Knowing a public credential or using a company email is not sufficient by itself, and Ask Trust Hub may request additional verification or decline access.
Business information, corrections, and responses
Business-supplied information is provided and managed by an authorized business representative and remains separate from public-source evidence.
Anyone may report a factual inaccuracy without paying or claiming a profile. A report starts a review; it does not automatically change or remove evidence.
A business response is business-supplied context reviewed before publication. It does not replace source evidence or mean Trust Hub agrees with it.
Free participation and paid tools
Claiming, reporting an inaccuracy, submitting an eligible response, and maintaining supported basic business information do not require buying ranking or placement.
Optional business software may be offered separately. Purchasing software never changes evidence, rankings, research findings, or publication standards.
