The Ask Trust Hub network

Specialist research destinations under one independence standard. Ask routes you; the hubs do the deep work.

Ask Trust Hub Standard

Last reviewed:

Move, Lender, Insurance, Contractor, Senior, and Investor Trust Hub are part of the Ask Trust Hub network under common ownership, with separated research and listing order and no paid placements. Ask Trust Hub is the parent trust layer and discovery surface. Each specialist hub is a separate product domain with its own tools and market depth. We do not host provider directories on this site.

“Independence” here means no paid placements and research ordering that is not for sale — one research network with specialist domains, not unrelated companies. Verify providers with primary regulators before you commit.

What the Network is seeing

Three lessons only a parent network can teach

Not rankings. Not copied hub scoreboards. Descriptive comparison of unlike evidence models.

  1. Finding 1

Public records answer very different questions depending on the market.

    • HMDA describes mortgage-market activity, not whether a lender is “good.”
    • CMS publishes senior-care quality, staffing, and ownership evidence — by provider class.
    • Contractor regulation is state-board evidence and varies by jurisdiction.
    • Form ADV describes adviser structure and compensation, not performance.

Why this matters. Forcing one transparency score would hide those differences. TrustHub keeps unlike evidence models separate.

Limitation: This is a descriptive comparison of evidence models, not a ranking of markets or firms.

    Explore how evidence differs
  2. Finding 2

The company name is not always the regulated entity.

    • A mover brand may be a carrier, a broker, or both — confirm who hauls.
    • Insurance: legal insurer, agency, and producer are different roles.
    • Lending: the institution on paperwork may not be the servicer you call later.
    • Senior care: the facility you visit may be owned by a different organization.
    • Investment advisers: RIA vs ERA is a classification, not a quality grade.

Why this matters. Matching a display name is not the same as matching a license, USDOT, NMLS, CCN, or IARD identity.

Limitation: Ask does not merge similar names across hubs into one legal entity.

    See how TrustHub resolves identity
  3. Finding 3

Geography means different things in different public records.

    • A contractor address county is not service territory.
    • HMDA property county is not lender headquarters.
    • An adviser principal office is not necessarily client geography.
    • State licensing can differ from physical location.

Why this matters. Consumers often treat an address as “where they work.” Public records often mean something else.

Limitation: Prompt 1 does not publish a 50-state coverage atlas; this finding is the consumer lesson.

    Explore geography and coverage

Specialist directories are expanding. If a ZIP or county has no listings yet, hub empty states point you to official sources (FMCSA, NMLS, state DOI / NAIC) rather than inventing results.

How life journeys work

You are inside one research system for a life event — one research network with specialist domains, not a pile of unrelated websites.

  1. 1

    Ask routes

You name a life event or question. Ask Trust Hub points you to the right specialist — no directories and no forms on this site.

  2. 2

    Hub executes

The specialist hub owns the deep tools: verify, compare, plan. Research stays on that domain.

  3. 3

    Standard applies

Every hub inherits The Ask Trust Hub Standard — independence, disclosed sources, rankings not for sale.
